Positive Behaviour for Learning
Parkes East Public School has implemented Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) into the life of the school.
The school has embraced "Sonny" as the PBL mascot. Children earn "Sonny Money" for being Respectful, Safe and Responsible at school. The "Sonny Money" is then used to purchase rewards at both an individual and whole school level.
Our school rules are:
- We are safe
- We are respectful
- We are responsible
Our celebrations include lots of fun rewards like crazy sock day, colour runs, mufti, sausage sizzles and sometimes we have water play under our sprinklers on our green grass.
All behaviours that are expected of our students are taught in a positive, supportive manner.
