The School has a population of 306 pupils. Our community is very supportive of the school, with many parents involved in classroom teaching programs. We use a contemporary organisation related directly to the new curriculum statements released by the New South Wales Board of Studies. Special school features include high level computer networking, strong student welfare, academic and sporting programs. To cater for individual pupil needs and outcomes our school community has embraced many of the beliefs of Outcome Based Education. Staff and parents plan actions to address the beliefs that all children can learn and succeed, that success breeds success, and that schools control the conditions for success. Staff, families and community work together to provide students with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, values and experience needed to participate in our society. Our staff endeavour to provide education that is relevant to needs and aspirations of pupils, responsive to community expectations, effective in achievement of high quality educational programs and efficient in the use of resources.
